Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and gather all ingredients.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Add oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips, stirring until evenly distributed.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
