Ingredients
- 14 ounces caramels
- ½ cup evaporated milk
- 1 (18.25-ounce) package German chocolate cake mix
- ⅓ cup evaporated milk
- ¾ cup butter, melted
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Unwrap all caramels and melt with ½ cup evaporated milk until smooth.
- Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
- Mix cake mix, ⅓ cup evaporated milk, melted butter, and pecans until thick.
- Spread half into the pan; bake 8 minutes.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and drizzle melted caramel over top.
- Layer remaining dough pieces on top; bake 20 minutes more.
- Cool completely before slicing.
