Description

Ingredients

  • 2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs


Instructions

  1. Mix vanilla instant pudding mix, cream, and milk together in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate to set.
  2. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  3. Bring water and butter to a rolling boil in a large pot.
  4. Stir in flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
  5. Transfer dough to a mixing bowl. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake until golden brown and dry inside, about 20–25 minutes.
  8. Let puffs cool completely.
  9. Split and fill with the pudding mixture, or pipe the pudding into the shells.
  10. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Cool the choux pastry completely before filling to prevent sogginess.
